I think my presentation went good. I did not mess up like I thought I would. I also had an easy judge, who was a teacher of mine before. I am glad it is over with.

There are more minuses to our capstone presentation. I do not really enjoy speaking in public, so that is a minus. Another minus is having to do all the work.  A plus would be to be able to everyone our project with everyone worked hard on.

Efforts

I believe I have worked effortlessly. I like my things to be simple and I believe I have shown that with my work. I like it still looks good.

Presenation

I think I did good on my presentation. I feel my video got its message out there, but it may need a little more images and like a better end.

Video

My video is going to be a documentary. I think I will use Prezi. It will explain concepts of green construction and will use music, a narrator, and no actors.

What is next?

Next, for my project I plan to find more solutions to the problems involving green construction.

Website

I have been working on my website for the past few weeks on Dreamweaver, but it is not going very good so I think I will switch to Wix. It looks easier. I think I will do a better job on that website.

Project

My capstone will need construction of a 3D model of a house. I will present my poster on a stand. I think appropriate dress will be like a suit or something. I do not think I will be presenting a brochure.

PSA

In class today, I presented my PSA over green construction. I think I did a good job.

Presentation

For my capstone project I do not think I will purchase explanatory props I will make a poster and I will fabricate a 3D model of a sustainable house. I think the appropriate dress for the presentation is like a suit. Important points in my presentation are going to how much green construction can help the planet and how people can do it in affordable ways. I will also be presenting a brochure and I plan to make a video and website for my presentation. I have a lot of work to do.  

My website

I started making my website today. It is going to be about green construction and and warning about global warming. So far it is going pretty good.

About My PSA

Green construction and global warming are not really topics that can be joked about so I will use a serious mood when making my PSA video.

First Week of January Term

This week was my first of my last semester in high school. It was easy week. All I did was spend my entire day on the computer looking at architecture firms and pictures for my capstone project. I also started my blog. I started my poster today.

Storyboard

Today in class we created a storyboard of what we want our video to be. My video is going to be a PSA about sustainable construction. In the video it will explain what green construction is, problems if we do not continue to build green and how it helps society and the environment as a whole.

Capstone Project

The goal of my capstone project is to help our environment and economy. Green construction benefits the public and environment. Green construction and sustainable buildings are important because they can help reduce the emissions we as humans emit by our consuming of energy. My project fits with my career of architecture because it has to do with construction. I can help contribute by designing more sustainable buildings that in the end are helpful to the environment and society. My project, if done outside in the world by more architects than now, can help society by helping clean the environment which can potentially result in a better air quality. Sustainable construction is a way to save our planet from global warming.
